“Experimental surveys in civil war: Rebel Tactics, Public Support and the Upcoming Phase of the Peace Talks in Southern Thailand”

Past Projects, Research Projects

This project received funding in 2019 from the Global Lives Research Centre (£7,500), in 2021 from the Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation Distinguished Scholar Award (£ 28,850), and in 2023 from the Institute of Humane Studies (£2,000). As part of this project, I hired 40 local researchers in the conflict areas of Thailand to run two experimental surveys, and I shared the results of these surveys to key stakeholders in the Southern Thailand Peace Process through 4 policy reports, one set of infographics, and one training module (see also RIB7).
